Welcome to IPMA Hackdays 2021!

As in 2020, the IPMA 9th research conference 2021 addressing “Project Leadership and Society” that will take place between June 10 and 11 (see also the program on our website: http://www.ipma-research-conference.world/programme/) is starting with IPMA Hackdays.

IPMA Hackdays will start with an online tool Slack for which participants will be sent the link. This is a space where participants can (self-) organize with other participants and discuss key questions on “Project leadership and Society” in the sphere of projects. It will be kicked off on June 8th June at 3 pm CEST and continue till June 11, 3 pm CEST. The presentations of the results to the international judges will take place at 4.00 pm CEST on the 11th of June. The solutions produced by the teams could potentially lead to the production of an e-book. Those who want to continue the dialogue and the research activities on any of the chosen topics can continue as a Special or Local Interest Group (SIG/LIG) within IPMA. The winning team of the Hackdays will get pre-paid tickets for the blended IPMA Congress of St. Petersburg that will take place from 21 to 23 September 2021. The second team will be invited to do a podcast by “Tech People”.

Another highlight is awaiting you on  Day 1, Saturday, June 12th at 15:20 CEST. The IPMA Global Research Award Winners 2021 will present their research and are available during the IPMA Research Conference for networking (https://awards.ipma.world/ipma-global-research-awards/).

On Saturday, June 12th, a fully packed program is scheduled in the virtual space. You will be invited to attend 3 keynotes, 16 paper presentations, 6 Research Awards winners presentations, a panel discussion, and the highlights of the IPMA Hackdays, also drawing conclusions from a Project Leadership and Society point of view. We will record all sessions and make them available to all participants as well as the presentations and miscellaneous information.

Participants will be invited end of May to send in their confirmation by 2 June 2021 if they participate at the IPMA Hackdays, taking into consideration that there will be an introductory webinar on 7th June at 4 pm CEST for all participants.

We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
