I want to share my experience with IPMA Slovakia during the hectic period when the topic of COVID19 resonates all around us.

I am responsible for the Project Competences Center in Framatome, the international corporate company, which operates one of its branches also in Slovakia – Framatome Controls s. r. o. Our primary focus is on managing project in the field of emergency management systems in the nuclear industry within the territory of Europe.

We aim at continuous improvement and, therefore, we were looking for an opportunity to expand our knowledge and how to upgrade our project management qualifications. After analyzing the available options, studying the reviews, and direct recommendations, we contacted the Slovak Project Management Association (Slovak abbreviation: SPPR), known as IPMA Slovakia, since 2019.

We completed the online preparatory course, where my colleagues and I repeated and mastered the generally accepted project management rules and principles. We experienced high expertise, professionalism, and credibility. The lecturers helped us to answer several questions in the field of project management and drew our attention to new and modern project management trends.

Subsequent certification (done online as well) for the appropriate levels according to the degree of seniority and previous experience generated high demand but was conducted professionally, emphasizing the added value and maintaining the high standard of IPMA Slovakia.
