5th International Congress on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at MAHAK
MAHAK-the Society to Support Children Suffering from Cancer, which has been recognized as the Gold Winner of IPMA Achievement Award twice in 2014 and 2018, is going to hold the 5th International Corporate Social Responsibility Congress on February 25, 2019 at MAHAK on the occasion of the International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) with the main themes of Planning and Implementation Models and Reporting Standards with the presence of prominent experts, business executives and economic agents.
As a scientific supporter of this congress, International Project Management Association (IPMA) contribute to this event with the presentations from two VPs, Martin Sedlmayer; the Vice president of Products and Services, and Gholamreza (Kami) Safakish; the Vice President of Young Crew.
This congress will host other international speakers from professional and specialized organizations as follows:
- Yvonne Schoper; Professor at University of Applied Sciences Berlin
- Christoph Hamelmann; Representative of World Health Organization in Iran
- Will Parks; Representative of UNICEF in Iran
In the last eight years, MAHAK as a pioneer charity organization in Iran which is addressing the issue of CSR, has held four specialized conferences under the rubric of ‘CSR and Childhood Cancer’ considering the role of different stratums of the society in promoting and developing CSR concept and in practice, and NGOs as the main and ultimate targets of CSR programs of the business entities.
MAHAK believes that the bond among NGOs, business entities and private sector will lead to promotion of the concept of CSR in the society and always strives to utilize national and international professionals’ opinions through organizing specialized and focused meetings and congresses in order to provide cancer-stricken children with the best and the most qualified treatment and support services.
