WORKSHOP “Meet the editors” at the 10th IPMA Research Conference in Belgrade, Serbia, was hosted by Prof. dr Martina Huemann, Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Project Management and Project Leadership and Society, Prof. dr Nathalie Drouin, Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Managing Projects in Business, Prof. dr Louis Klein and Prof. Ralf Muller, Editors of Project Management Journal.

The room was full and could hardly accommodate all the interested attendees!

The editors discussed the need for embedded research that helps connect the researchers and practitioners and which could be facilitated by the editors.

The editors of the leading PM journals are also cooperating on joint projects that could be found on YouTube.

The editors pointed to the trends in pm, such as
– ai and digitization
– social impact, community engagement, and investor perspective in mega projects;
– switch the focus from a single project to the project portfolio;
– governance practices;
– sustainable development;
– new and novel research methods, and many more
