Project Leadership and Society – The Journal of the International Project Management Association

IPMA together with Elsevier has launched a new golden open access journal as sister journal of International Journal of Project Management.

Project Leadership and Society, which is led by Professor Dr Martina Huemann (Editor-in-Chief), Professor Dr Kirsi Aaaltonen and Professor Dr Ding Ronggui open up for novel approaches that study projects and relate them to society. Society is considered in a broad sense, including policy, leadership and managerial practice. PLS articles study the interaction between projects, project leadership, project management on the one hand, and economic, social, political and organizational processes, on the other. Project leadership and management are seen in a broad sense including Project-based management, project-oriented management and Project Management Office Management. All papers are expected to yield findings that have implications for policy or practice.

We publish a wide range of article types, including empirical papers, theoretical insights, review papers, next practice papers and educational papers. We are pleased to inform you that this journal will waive the Article Publishing Charge through 2020. This will be applicable for any submissions received before 31st December 2020, which are accepted for publication after peer review.
