PMC 2018 final will take place in Serbia – The fourth international final of the Project Management Championship is coming!
Young Crew Serbia has been trusted with the organization and execution of the international final, which will take place from June 1st to 3rd 2018 in Belgrade, Serbia. YC Serbia has also had the responsibility of coordinating of all preliminary national competitions.
Marija Todorović, the extremely motivated project manager of this year’s competition, has started putting together a highly skilled team to deliver an amazing experience.
In the 2016/2017 academic year, 209 teams, 750 students from 7 countries – Spain, Finland, Serbia, Lithuania, Germany, Croatia, and Italy – competed in the Project Management Championship. The International final of Project Management Championship 2017 took place in Brijuni, Croatia on June 10, 2017 and gathered the best student teams from all participating countries. The assessment tool was a project simulation KINSHASA provided by OMEC and teams needed to plan and execute a project in Africa under challenging and changing conditions.
The winners – Team Serbia (Anja Spasojević, Miloš Milosavljević, Velizar Stefanović and Nemanja Jevtić)– were announced at the awards ceremony. Team Serbia first proved their theoretical knowledge of the IPMA methodology, then solve a project simulation in the final of the national competition in order to be selected as the winner of the preliminary Serbian PMC. They were awarded the opportunity to travel to Croatia and prove themselves against the winners of all national competitions.
2nd Place at the International Finals was awarded to the Team Spain (Raico Álvarez Feijoo, Ivan Adrio Muñiz, Patricia Fernández Fernández, Joaquín Abadín Mayo), and 3rd Place was awarded to the Team Italy (Veronica Bertolotti, Barbara Bianchi, Marta Bindi).
