New Training – „IPMA Project Excellence Baseline Professional“

Objective
The IPMA Project Excellence Baseline® is an IPMA standard, which provides a concept and tools for improvement in projects and programmes. It is used for the international awards programme as an assessment tool but has many more uses. Participants in this training learn how to use this approach to identify strengths and areas for improvement of projects and programmes. Based on these insights, good practices can be promoted, and action plans established for the continuous improvement in project and program management, to achieve outstanding results for all stakeholders.
Participants can take an exam at the end of the training to become recognised as IPMA Project Excellence Baseline Professional.

Content

• Fundamentals of Project Excellence, the concept and tools
• Project Excellence Mindset: What does it mean and why is it useful for all projects
• Insights in the areas: people and purpose, processes and resources, project results – participants can bring a case
• How to help your customers or your organisation to improve their performance
• the concept of the IPMA Project Excellence Professional for trainers and consultants
• How to devise products based on the Project Excellence Baseline®

Trainer
Michael Boxheimer worked for international companies in management and project management positions. He initiated projects for the organizational development of a project business to improve PM competencies and processes to become more competitive. Today he acts as consultant, trainer and coach for management and project management and works with customers on conceptual and operational topics. He volunteered at GPM and IPMA as an assessor and trainer for the Project Excellence Award and is co-author of the IPMA Project Excellence Baseline® (2016).
