New IPMA Global Achievement Awards scheme!

The IPMA Global Achievement Awards are annual awards celebrating outstanding individual achievements and world-class projects that contribute to society in an outstanding manner. An international group of judges selects the winners that are presented the awards at an IPMA Awards Gala. Winning an individual or project award provides you or your organisation international recognition for your efforts.

“Over the past 12 months, the IPMA Global Achievement Awards team has been redeveloping the awards to offer IPMA members and organisations with a unique opportunity to gain recognition at an individual, project and/or organisational levels in 2018. We have two revised categories – Regional Development, Community Service and a new category – Sustainable Projects. We are also excited to be able to welcome the Diversity in Project Management (DiPM) awards into the programme.” – says Mark Patch, IPMA Achievement Awards Coordinator. He adds that “…in combination with the revised individual categories of Project Manager of the Year and Young Project Manager of the Year, these new and revised categories offer individuals, project teams and organisations the ability to share and learn innovative approaches and heightened competences with their global project management peers.“

Apply if you are interested in:

  • International recognition of your achievements;
  • The possibility to learn more and execute better projects in the future;
  • The feedback report highlighting your strengths and areas for improvement;
  • To share experiences and to network with outstanding people, projects and organisations.

Which steps do you need to take:

  • Familiarise yourself with the Submission Guidelines;
  • Submit your application (free of charge) until 29 June 2018;
  • Present your achievements to the international panel of judges;
  • Prepare to participate in the PM Days in Helsinki on 30 October – 31 October 2018, where the winners will be announced;
  • Participate in the awards events and IPMA Award Gala in Helsinki on 30 October 2018.
