The 1st Income & Career Study by IPMA!
Project work plays an increasingly important role in today’s national economies. For this reason, the IPMA has set the goal of understanding the salary and career structures in project management by conducting an international comparative study to be able to show developments and trends.
This gives you the opportunity to compare and benchmark your salary with the industry average on a national and international scale.
The study is conducted by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) and an external research partner, EBS University.
The aim of this study is to give a broader overview of the world market and potential career paths in project management.
The questionnaire takes only approximately 10 minutes to complete.
The survey runs from November 17 to December 22, 2021.
After Yvonne’s Schopper (IPMA Vice President for Membership & YC) call for participation, there are 13 countries that joined the survey and they are Germany, Austria, Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Croatia, Poland, Estonia, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador.
We need a minimum of 350 survey participants from each of the countries mentioned above.
It can be shared with the local IPMA members, but also everyone else interested.
Also those without any PM memberships or certificates!
Important dates:
- Week 46-51: start of the survey
- 22 Dec 21: closure of the survey
- Jan/ Feb 22: analysis of international data
