IPMA Leadership at the China Congress on Project Management 🌟
As part of the strategic goal of strengthening regional partnerships, IPMA President Prof. Dr. Mladen Vukomanović, Vice President of Finance & Operations Prof. Dr. Vladimir Obradović, and Vice President of Research & Publications Prof. Ding Ronggui are attending the prestigious China Congress on Project Management. This event is organized by the Project Management Research Committee (PMRC)—our valued IPMA Member Association in China—in collaboration with Dalian University of Technology.
🔑 Key Highlights:
Mladen Vukomanović introduced the globally recognized IPMA Ecosystem, highlighting project management competence-based certification and the Global Project Excellence Awards as key pillars of IPMA’s global influence, alongside many other products and services.
Vladimir Obradović delivered an inspiring keynote on ESG and Sustainability, showcasing the highly anticipated IPMA ICB4 Reference Guide on Sustainable Project Management.
Ding Ronggui shared IPMA’s strategic perspectives on project management research, emphasizing its role in bridging business and academia. This was further supported by keynote speeches from Prof. Ralf Müller (Editor-in-Chief of Project Management Journal) and Prof. Nathalie Drouin (Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Managing Projects in Business).
In addition to the presentations, numerous side meetings with key stakeholders, business leaders, and academic institutions took place, fostering new collaborations to advance the project management profession.
In his opening address, Mladen Vukomanović expressed his sincere gratitude to Dr. Lixiong Ou, Deputy Director of PMRC, for hosting this outstanding event and creating valuable opportunities for collaboration between IPMA Member Associations, global companies, and academia. Mladen stated: “I am pleased to see IPMA China expanding, with growth in both corporate and individual memberships, and forging strong collaborations with high-tech industries.”
Dr. Lixiong Ou remarked: “At PMRC, as a long-standing IPMA Member Association, we are excited to bring IPMA’s sustainable project management standards to the market, where they are already in high demand and eagerly anticipated.”
