IPMA Kids Programme is accelerating! The great success of the new pilot in Dubrovnik, Croatia!
IPMA Kids (IPMA Juniors) workshops took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on the sunny morning of September 22nd. The workshop was co-organised by IPMA Global and IPMA Croatia,
The first IPMA Kids workshop in Croatia aimed 20 young people aged 16-17 from the Dubrovnik Private Gymnasium.
Juniors performed amazingly during the “Getting Green” workshop. Their engagement, creativity and performance were extraordinary! Also, during the event, the IPMA Kids programme gained four more international tutors (from Croatia, Austria and Dominican Republic)!
We congratulate the organisers and warmly thank IPMA Croatia Team – President Mladen Vukomanovic, Mrs Darija Ivandic Vidovic and Mr Andrej Hanzir – who co-organised and helped us to deliver this fantastic event for young Project Managers!
The whole pilot project and all the workshops of the IPMA Kids programme were prepared by a fantastic team of volunteers preparing the content for the last two years.
The leader, an inventor of the IPMA Kids programme and IPMA Kids Project Manager – dr Joanna Rzempała (Vice President IPMA Poland), says: “It is an enormous pleasure to lead those pilots around the world. With those amazing young people in Croatia, we could observe how this well–designed product is developing in real and how the kids are benefiting from it. I want to warmly thank IPMA Croatia for co-organising this event. I am also very proud of my team’s efforts again! Thank you again, IPMA Kids Team!”.
The project sponsor, IPMA VP Standards and Certification – Oxana Klimenko, says: “This is a good start for IPMA to engage the younger generation into project management. I love the idea of implementing our values and competencies among teenagers and kids. It is a great benefit for them and their schools. But it is also an opportunity to develop different CSR programmes and activities of big business companies. After the pilot phase, all IPMA Member Associations will have the opportunity to share and develop this ready-to-use product – by the end of 2022.”
