Fair winds, Following seas: 7th Global PM Days flows like a breeze!
250+ participants from 50 countries from all over the world developed their personal competence related to Relationships & Engagement last weekend, October 29-30, as part of the 7th Global PM Days online conference organized by IPMA Young Crew.
The participant enjoyed and savoured every moment of the conference: from the insightful keynotes and panel discussion to lively interactions with each other during the networking sessions.
The first day was officially opened by Chiara Haenel, IPMA Young Chair, Yvonne Schopper, IPMA Vice President for Membership and Young Crew, and Diana Tereshchenko, the Speakers & Program Manager and a moderator of the Global PM Days 7th Edition.
This juncture was immediately followed by the talks of Miguel Carvalho e Melo, Kristina Roppelt, and Tatiana Kniazeva.
Amazingly, already during the first networking session, the participants were able to get to know each other well and apply what they have learned during the conference so far.
Thereafter, Simone Poetscher, Caroline Rotter, Vladimir Polkovnikov, Tiago Ramalho, and Raquel Buscaino delivered their well-presented topics, and the day ended with another networking session.
On the second day, Amr Mousa, the Speakers & Program Manager and a moderator of the conference, opened the floor for the keynote speakers. The keynotes were started by Jeanette Cremor and proceeded by Shady Eneim, Andy Hanselman, and Viveka Anderton.
The day occurred smoothly, leading the participants to enjoy the networking session. Just like the previous networking sessions, this paved the way for them to connect and network with like-minded individuals.
The section for the keynotes ended informatively with William Stewart, SafarAli Babaei, and Frank Turley successively.
Then, the panel discussion by Kristina Roppelt, Dr Amr Elfass, and Almahdy Eltonsy, facilitated by Diana Tereshchenko, gave the participants in-depth knowledge about the things that they need to learn, notice, and acknowledge in the real-life setting in relation to the topic of Relationships & Engagement.
The conference was officially wrapped up with the closing remarks by the Global PM Days team and the final networking session.
As pre-announced, one tree on behalf of each conference participant, speaker, and special guest will be planted around the world as support for the reforestation efforts of One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation. The locations include Africa, North and Latin America, Asia, and Australia.
Our gratitude goes to Van Haren Publishing & Learning Solutions, Balsamiq, and todoist, the sponsors and partners of the conference, who made the 7th Global PM Days a memorable experience for the participants.
