Call for Members for the IPMA Standards Taskforce (2024-2026)

Join the IPMA Standards Taskforce (IST) and become part of a global effort influencing project management standards. Under the Standards, Qualifications & Products (SQP) remit in the IPMA ecosystem, you will oversee and contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of standards, impacting project management professionals worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development, revision, and implementation of IPMA Standards.
  • Research and innovate on standards and product lifecycle methodologies.
  • Address grievances and procedural complaints related to standards.
  • Develop and implement the IST annual work plan.

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for experienced project management professionals from both practice and academia, individuals passionate about governance, standards, and innovation. The IST members serve as volunteers for IPMA. Please consider the commitment to regular participation in virtual and face-to-face meetings.

Candidates with IPMA certifications will be given a preference.

The IST shall ideally consist of 6 to 8 members, including a Chair. In IPMA, we strongly encourage diversity in all our working groups, aiming for a balance of gender, culture, and geographical representation. 

How to Apply:

To apply, please send your resume and a brief statement outlining your experience and motivation to the IPMA Seretariat at info@ipma.world by May 31, 2024. An official nomination from an IPMA Member Association is a mandatory requirement for the application.The results of the application process will be announced by June 14, 2024.
