32nd IPMA World Congress – wrap up

The 32nd IPMA World Congress is already history. An extraordinary, very instructive event with tons of valuable takeaways and a lot of networking opportunities came to an end.
To master the challenging times, SOVNET and IPMA: International Project Management Association managed successfully – for the first time in history – a hybrid World Congress, with about 400 persons present in Saint Petersburg, and very many participants online from all over the World.
My sincere thank goes to all participants, but also to all actively involved, being locally in Russia, perfectly managed by Alexander Tovb, president of SOVNET with all the local teams, to our splendid IPMA core team, and to the very many volunteers from all corners of this world.
The end of one event is always the start of the next one. Our Japanese member association SPM of Japan, under the presidency of Tetsuro Seki, will now take over and organise the 33rd IPMA World Congress in Tokyo, together with their local ProMAC event, on November 23-25, 2022.

• We organised 71 events within our Congress program.
• A team of over 20 amazing IPMA volunteers moderated and facilitated the event.

• All recordings of congress speeches are still available to our participants!
• We will issue virtual badges soon!
