With heavy hearts, we share that our dear colleague and friend, Przemysław Domanski — Przemek — passed away on 11 July 2025.

It’s difficult to put into words just how much Przemek meant to all of us. He wasn’t just a project manager, or a lecturer, or a trainer, or an assessor. He was the heart of so many of our shared moments — a quiet force of wisdom, kindness, and generosity who lifted those around him simply by being who he was.

Przemek wore many professional hats — and he wore them with grace, humility, and an unwavering dedication to excellence. Whether coordinating Awards, assessing projects, mentoring future professionals, or pushing boundaries in our field, he brought insight, vision, and a passion that was deeply contagious.

He was one of the most passionate contributors to the Project Excellence Awards and the wider community — not because he had to be, but because he cared. He believed in what we could achieve together. He saw the potential in others before they saw it in themselves, and he gave his time, his wisdom, and his heart to help them grow.

But what we’ll remember most isn’t a title or a list of achievements. It’s his kindness. His warm smile. His sense of humour, always just when we needed it. His ability to listen — really listen — and to make you feel that your voice mattered.

Przemek’s passing is a deep and personal loss. It leaves an empty space in our community, and in each of us who had the joy of knowing him. But we take comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on — in the ideas he championed, the people he mentored, and the spirit of excellence and humanity he brought into everything he did.

To his family, we extend our heartfelt condolences. Please know how loved, respected, and admired Przemek was — and always will be.

We will carry him with us, always.
